What is the format of the three days?

We don’t like to do powerpoints. Though some portion of each day will necessarily cover important information that will need to be shared, most of the three days will be spent in “homebase” groups that mimic real PLCs, practicing new skills that have been discussed and modeled and grappling with the content and issues as an authentic PLC might do. All participants will be passed the facilitator’s role in their Home Groups at some point and gain experience leading protocols and giving and receiving feedback. Most of the activities participants will experience are suitable to “reproduce” in their home school PLCs.

Who should attend?

Teacher leaders who are or will be facilitating PLCs in their schools, administrators, and members of school Leadership Teams. District personnel have also attended quite often in the past.
